AtlasCrew FAQ
Straight answers about contractor scheduling, Jobs, Quotes, and field use.
What AtlasCrew does today, what is still in early access, what is intentionally coming later, and how a service contractor can start without turning on every module.
The product
What is AtlasCrew?
AtlasCrew is contractor and field service management software for scheduling Jobs, managing customers and properties, assigning crews, creating Quotes, documenting work, and keeping the office and field on the same page.
What types of contractors can use AtlasCrew?
AtlasCrew is designed for service businesses that visit customer properties, including tree service, landscaping, excavation, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, property maintenance, and similar field-service contractors.
Do I have to use every feature?
No. Start with Calendar, Map, Customers, Properties, and Jobs. Add Crews, Quotes, documents, photos, and other modules when they are useful to your company.
Can I manage customers and Job history?
Yes. Customer profiles stay connected to service properties, Service Requests, upcoming and completed Jobs, Quotes, notes, photos, signed documents, and related invoice records.
Can I create and send estimates or Quotes?
Yes. Build professional Quotes with reusable templates, line items, discounts, fees, taxes, deposits, Terms, expiration dates, and selected project photos.
Calendar, crews, and scheduling
Can AtlasCrew schedule multiple crews?
Yes. Crews can have their own colors and assigned work. AtlasCrew can show overlapping work for the same crew so a dispatcher can correct conflicts before the day begins.
Can AtlasCrew handle multi-day Jobs?
Yes. One Job can span consecutive days or return for separate visits later without creating duplicate customer or Job records.
Can employees view a shared work schedule?
Yes. An authorized user can share a privacy-scoped Day, Week, or Month agenda without exposing pricing, invoices, internal notes, or unrelated crews.
Does AtlasCrew automatically optimize routes?
Not yet. AtlasCrew maps Jobs, estimate stops, and properties so a dispatcher can group nearby work and plan a better day, but it does not currently claim automatic route optimization.
Phones, signatures, photos, and field work
Can customers sign Quotes online?
Yes. A customer can open a secure Quote link, review the proposal, and type or draw a signature. AtlasCrew preserves the finalized signed PDF and evidence history.
Can customers sign in person?
Yes. Open the same Quote on a phone or tablet, hand the device to the customer for review and consent, and collect the customer and optional company representative signatures.
Can I attach Job photos?
Yes. Photos are private by default. You can keep internal field photos, intentionally include selected project photos in a Quote, or securely share only selected photos with a customer.
Does AtlasCrew work on phones and tablets?
Yes. AtlasCrew uses an adaptive installable web app for phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop use.
Does AtlasCrew work when signal is weak?
Selected field workflows have offline-friendly foundations and saved property data. Not every action works offline yet, and queued changes still need a connection to synchronize.
Can AtlasCrew clean up rushed field notes?
Yes. Local writing tools can clean up, polish, shorten, or organize a rough scope while checking quantities, measurements, species, instructions, and exclusions before you apply the change.
Import, trial, and what comes later
Can I import customers from Excel or CSV?
Yes. CSV and XLSX imports include field mapping, preview, validation, duplicate warnings, history, and conflict-aware rollback.
Can I import a Google or Outlook Calendar?
Standard ICS exports from Google Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar tools can be staged and reviewed. This is file import, not a live Google or Outlook synchronization connection.
Can I move information from other field-service software?
AtlasCrew can review compatible exports from Jobber and other systems. The Import Center maps and previews supported records before anything is added; unusual conversions may need assisted setup.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New workspaces receive a no-credit-card trial with the configured trial plan's features. Records are retained if the trial expires, and exports remain available.
Can I create and send invoices?
Yes. AtlasCrew can carry approved work into a numbered invoice, create a protected PDF and secure customer link, email it, and track manual payments and remaining balance. Online card or bank payment collection is not available yet.
